Frosted acrylic signage is widely used to create nameplates, logo signs and other business products. The product has the appearance of etched glass. It’s also more durable, lighter and easier to work with than glass.

You can order frosted acrylic signs in custom shapes. However, we offer a few popular options to facilitate the design process.

• Square or Rectangle – 90° angles with pointed corners
• Rounded – 90° angles with rounded corners at 1/4″-1/2″ radius
• Outline – custom shape
• Overline – custom shape with an extra non-printed border of frosted acrylic

Printing of Frosted Acrylic Signs

Frosted acrylic signs can be printed in full color like regular acrylic signs. Your design is directly printed on the front side of the material. The printed surface loses its etched effect while the remaining part retains the frosted appearance.

Material of Frosted Acrylic Signs

The material we use is clear acrylic with an etched surface on one side. This effect obscures the view but allows light transmission.

Choose from the two material thickness options for your frosted acrylic sign: 1/8″ (0.125″) or 1/4″ (0.25″). While the 1/8″ option makes even large signs durable, you’re free to choose the thickness you like.

Mounting of Frosted Acrylic Signs

We offer silver and gold standoff mounting for frosted acrylic signs. The metal standoffs will be visible and give your sign a professional look. Choose from the two sizes of standoffs, 1/2″ (0.5″) or 1″, and use the option to have drilled holes if you need them.

Installation Guide for Frosted Acrylic Signs

We offer standoff mounting for frosted acrylic signs. For installation, you’ll need a screwdriver, drill (if you choose to make the holes yourself), anchors and the standoffs with all included parts.

Step 1: Choose a level surface and mark the areas for drilling the holes.

Step 2: Drill the holes and insert the anchors.

You may skip the first two steps if you get the holes pre-drilled by selecting the option in our design tool.

Step 3: Screw the standoff barrels onto the anchors.

Step 4: Align the drilled holes of the frosted acrylic sign with the barrels on the wall.

Step 5: Screw in the caps of the standoffs to sandwich the print between the barrels and the caps.
